Rapid Prototyping
Digital 3-D modeling allows Quarra to take a virtual design, export it to a robot, and create an actual stone piece that is either roughed out or totally complete. The prototype allows us to specify production costs for different stones and explore profiled and carved designs. Evaluation of actual models, scaled or full size, ensures that the virtual design will accomplish the design objective within the established project budget.
Custom Stone Sculpture
With Quarra's state of the art production facility and our renowned hand-carving studio, we have developed an extensive portfolio of custom fabricated stone sculptures and architectural ornamentation for a variety of private, institutional and government projects.
